Terry Odell was born in Los Angeles, California where she graduated from UCLA.  She has taught at levels ranging from pre-school through adult, including managing an animal outreach program in Miami, Florida.  She currently works managing the membership and providing corporate memory for the Society for Marine Mammalogy,  volunteers for the Adult Literacy League and writes fiction.  Terry resides in Orlando, Florida with her husband.  They have three children.
